Letter From The Founding Member

A few years ago I was diagnosed with cancer and my doctor recommended that I try medical marijuana and a few days later I went to a dispensary. When I first walked in, the atmosphere surprised me. It was a small low lit room with graffiti on the walls and loud music. The employees didn't seem to care about me or my condition and had no knowledge of what strains or forms of intake would work best for my specific needs, nothing like I expected. Weeks later after a long unsuccessful search for a dispensary with a compassionate and knowledgeable staff, I decided it was time to take things into my own hands. Having management experience I knew what it would take to start a truly compassionate collective. I and fellow patients worked together to make My Private Collective into what it is today, a truly compassionate group of professionals that the state can be proud of. We accomplish this by carefully interviewing, training, and testing every volunteer to ensure they have what we call the MPC personality; a friendly and caring attitude with an eagerness to help and a smile on their face. MPC is a true nonprofit and to this day none of our directors or volunteers have been paid a single penny. The goal is to make MPC fully self-sufficient so 100% of net income is reinvested into the member services program and our hope is to one day be able to provide all services free of charge. Visit our member services page to see what an MPC caregiver can do for you.

We have come a long way since we began but there is still plenty of work to be done.
